Terms of Service

Rules and responsibilities for using OPDly services.

These terms describe the baseline conditions for patients, hospitals, doctors, administrators, and staff who access OPDly digital services, including appointment management, billing, pharmacy, and lab modules.

Last updated: September 23, 2026

Who These Terms Apply To

These terms apply to hospitals, doctors, administrators, and staff who register for and use OPDly's digital OPD management platform, operated by OPDly Technologies. Patients do not create accounts on OPDly — they receive a WhatsApp tracking link generated by hospital staff and are not directly bound by these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OPDly, account holders agree to comply with these terms and with any applicable laws, policies, and operating requirements communicated through the platform.

Account Responsibilities

Hospital administrators are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting login credentials, and ensuring that only authorized staff access the platform. Each registered hospital is responsible for the data entered on behalf of their patients.

Data Fiduciary and Processor Roles

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act):

  • The hospital is the data fiduciary — it determines the purpose and means of collecting patient data.
  • OPDly Technologies is the data processor — it processes patient data solely on behalf of and under the instructions of the hospital.

Hospitals are responsible for obtaining any consent required from patients for data collection and for handling patient data rights requests in accordance with applicable law.

As a data processor, OPDly Technologies does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or clinical correctness of any data entered into the platform. The hospital, and its doctors, pharmacy, and lab staff, are solely responsible for verifying all data they enter or rely on before acting on it.

Permitted Use

  • Use the platform only for lawful healthcare scheduling and administrative operations, including appointment management, consultation, billing, pharmacy, and lab workflows.
  • Do not interfere with service availability, security, or other users' access.
  • Do not upload false, misleading, infringing, or unauthorized data.
  • Ensure patient-related information is handled in compliance with applicable data protection obligations.

Billing, Pharmacy, and Lab Records

Hospitals using OPDly's billing, pharmacy, and lab modules are responsible for the accuracy of invoices, inventory records, and lab reports generated through the platform. OPDly Technologies provides these modules as tools to support hospital operations and does not independently verify clinical or financial data entered by hospital staff.

  • The pharmacy is solely responsible for verifying medicine stock, batch, expiry, and dosage details before dispensing — OPDly does not verify these against any external drug database.
  • The lab is solely responsible for verifying test results and reports before they are shared with a patient or doctor.
  • The hospital is solely responsible for verifying invoice amounts, payment records, and financial reports generated through the platform before relying on them.
  • OPDly Technologies is not liable for losses arising from unverified or incorrect data entered by hospital, pharmacy, or lab staff.

Subscription and Payment

Access to OPDly is provided on a subscription basis. Subscription fees are billed in advance for the applicable billing cycle.

All subscription payments are non-refundable. Once a subscription is activated, the amount paid is not refunded under any circumstances, including partial use of the billing cycle, early cancellation, downgrading to a lower plan, or account suspension. No pro-rata or partial refunds are issued for the unused portion of a billing cycle. This does not affect any rights you may have that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We recommend using the free trial to confirm OPDly suits your hospital before subscribing to a paid plan.

WhatsApp Messaging

OPDly uses the WhatsApp Business API (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) exclusively to send patients a one-time transactional message containing their live OPD queue-tracking link at the time of appointment registration. This service is strictly limited to transactional appointment notifications and is not used for marketing, promotions, or unsolicited communications.

Hospital staff are responsible for ensuring patients have consented to receive WhatsApp notifications before entering their phone number into the platform.

Service Availability

OPDly Technologies may update, suspend, or modify product features, integrations, or workflows at any time to improve operations, security, compliance, or performance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

Limitation and Contact

To the extent allowed by law, OPDly Technologies is not responsible for indirect losses, third-party failures, or issues caused by inaccurate user-provided data, misuse, or external service interruptions (including WhatsApp/Meta delivery failures).
