EMR Software

EMR software for Indian clinics — every visit, one patient record.

Vitals, complaints, diagnosis, prescriptions, lab reports, allergies and medical history, saved visit by visit under one patient ID. Fast enough for a busy OPD, simple enough for a single-doctor clinic.

One record per patient

Every patient gets a patient ID (like CCH-000042), with every visit, prescription, test and bill under it.

Vitals for each visit

BP, pulse, temperature, SpO₂, weight, height, glucose and more — saved in the unit you measured, with a warning for impossible values.

Complete visit notes

Complaints with duration and severity, examination, diagnosis, medicines, tests, advice, follow-up and referral on one screen.

Allergy alerts

Allergies recorded at any visit show in yellow at the top of the prescription, so you see them before you prescribe.

Medical and family history

Past history, chronic diseases, family history and smoking, alcohol and tobacco — carried forward to the next visit to review.

Previous visits on screen

Open any earlier visit beside the consultation, or load the last visit's diagnosis and medicines in one click.

Lab reports in the record

Reports from your lab or an outside lab appear on the consultation with abnormal values counted. Upload old reports and scans as photos or PDFs.

Private doctor notes

Notes only for the doctor that never print on the patient's prescription.

Corrections and addenda

Correct a finished visit and reprint, or add a dated addendum. Every change is recorded in the audit log.

What is EMR software?

EMR stands for electronic medical record. EMR software replaces the patient file and the paper register: each visit's vitals, complaints, diagnosis, prescription and test results are saved on the computer under the patient's ID, so any doctor in the clinic can see the full history on the next visit. People also call it EHR (electronic health record) software or patient record software.

An EMR made for the Indian OPD

Most EMR software is built for foreign clinics with long appointments. In an Indian OPD the doctor sees a patient every few minutes. OPDly's consultation screen saves everything on its own, nothing is mandatory, and doctors move with the keyboard. Your usual doses are remembered, templates fill a whole visit (like 'Viral Fever') in one click, and the prescription prints on your letterhead in English or 9 Indian languages.

The record works for the whole clinic

The EMR is connected to the rest of OPDly. Reception books the patient and records vitals, the doctor writes the visit, tests reach the lab and medicines reach the pharmacy without retyping, and the bill is made from the same visit. Follow-ups are booked automatically and patients are reminded on WhatsApp the evening before.

Find patients by disease and bring them back

Diseases recorded in the patient's chronic diseases or medical history are tracked for you. List every diabetic or hypertensive patient, see who has not visited since a date, and export the list to call them for a check-up.

What OPDly's EMR does not do

OPDly is an outpatient (OPD) EMR. It does not keep in-patient records such as admission notes or discharge summaries yet, and it is not ABDM certified, so it does not create ABHA IDs or share records with the national health network. It has no AI that writes prescriptions — the doctor stays in charge of every line.

Price

The EMR is in every plan. Starter is ₹5,988 a year (₹499 a month) for up to 2 doctors and 2 staff. Standard is ₹9,588 a year (₹799 a month) for up to 5 doctors and 5 staff, and adds the lab (so lab reports land in the record), pharmacy, online booking and WhatsApp updates. Pro is ₹14,388 a year (₹1,199 a month) for up to 10 doctors. Plans are billed yearly, plus GST, with no setup fee. Every clinic starts with a free 30-day trial.

FAQ

Common Questions

Yes. OPDly keeps an electronic medical record for every patient: vitals, complaints, examination, diagnosis, prescriptions, lab reports, allergies, medical and family history, and every past visit. It is an outpatient EMR and is not ABDM certified.

An EMR system stores each patient's medical record on the computer instead of paper files: history, allergies, vitals, diagnosis, prescriptions, test results and every past visit, so the doctor sees it all at the next visit.

No. Joining ABDM is voluntary for private clinics and hospitals. You can keep electronic health records in OPDly without ABDM — they simply stay within your clinic and are not shared with the national network.

An EMR is the medical record kept by one clinic or hospital. An EHR is meant to be shared between different providers. In India the two words are mostly used for the same thing: software that keeps patients' medical records on a computer instead of paper.

OPDly has no free plan, but every clinic can use the full EMR free for 30 days before paying. No card is needed to start.

Yes. Send us an Excel or CSV export from your old software and our team moves your patients into OPDly for you, free of charge.

Each clinic sees only its own patients, every doctor and staff member has their own login, data is backed up daily, and every change is recorded in the audit log. OPDly does not sell or share patient data.
