Quick answer: DocPulse is a modular hospital management system with in-patient (IPD) admissions, IVR phone booking, telemedicine and ABDM certification, priced on request after a demo. OPDly is a lighter system for OPD clinics and small hospitals with up to 10 doctors, with published prices and a 30-day free trial. If you admit patients or need ABDM, look at DocPulse. If your work is mostly OPD, billing, pharmacy and lab, look at OPDly.

Both are cloud software made in India that runs in a browser, and both cover the OPD, an EMR, billing, pharmacy and lab. The difference is how big each one is, how you buy it, and how quickly you can start.

Frequently asked questions

How much does DocPulse cost?

DocPulse does not publish its prices. Its website says pricing is modular — you pay for the modules you need — and you get a quote after a demo. OPDly's prices are published: ₹499, ₹799 or ₹1,199 a month, billed yearly, plus GST.

Is OPDly a DocPulse alternative?

Yes, for OPD clinics and small hospitals. OPDly covers appointments and the token queue, the EMR and prescriptions, billing, pharmacy and lab. It does not cover in-patient admissions, IVR phone booking, telemedicine or ABDM, so a hospital that needs those should stay with a full HMS.

Does OPDly have an EMR like DocPulse?

Yes. OPDly keeps an outpatient EMR for every patient: medical and family history, allergies, vitals, complaints, diagnosis, prescriptions, lab reports and every past visit. It is not ABDM certified.

Can I move my patients from DocPulse to OPDly?

Yes. Export your patient list from your current software as an Excel or CSV file and send it to our team — we move it into OPDly for you, free of charge.

Which is easier for a new receptionist?

Try both with a real patient. In OPDly, a walk-in is booked by typing the phone number, picking the doctor and pressing Book — most receptionists learn it in their first morning.
